Report: Possible Reason Brock Lesnar Returned At WWE Raw Season Premiere

Brock Lesnar made a surprise return to WWE on the October 10 edition of Raw

The recent ‘season premiere’ of WWE Raw saw Brock Lesnar make his surprise return to WWE, with ‘The Beast Incarnate’ reigniting his feud with Bobby Lashley.

Brock’s return was a surprise not only because it was previously un-announced, but also because it wasn’t on a major show, with Lesnar appearances usually reserved for big events. However, a report from Andrew Zarian on Twitter has potentially shed some light on why Lesnar returned on Raw:

“USA network and WWE are both very happy with the direction of Raw. Lesnar returning on the show felt like a “make good” to many at USA for not having Bray on Raw following the buzz from Extreme Rules,” Tweeted Zarian.

All the buzz coming out of Extreme Rules was focused on Bray Wyatt’s epic return, but despite ‘White Rabbit’ clues airing on previous episodes of Raw it was announced that Wyatt will be exclusively on SmackDown going forward.

As for Lesnar, the former multi-time WWE Champion last wrestled at SummerSlam 2022 in July, losing to Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in a Last Man Standing Match.
