Report: Potential Name Of The Rock & John Cena's WWE Stable Revealed

WWE are currently discussing what to name the pairing of The Rock and John Cena and one of the names currently under consideration is 'The Rock and Soul Connection'.

That is according to WrestleVotes, who said on WrestleVotes Radio:

"The unlikely yet shocking pair of The Rock and John Cena will have strong promotion behind it as we move towards WrestleMania, with one of the ideas being to label the duo 'The Rock and Soul Connection', a nod to The Rock's father 'Soulman' Rocky Johnson perhaps...The Rock and Soul Connection is an idea, it's not official. It's one of the ideas on the table to label the pairing of The Rock and John Cena."

While 'The Rock and Soul Connection' could be a nod to Rocky Johnson, it may also refer to John Cena selling his soul to The Rock when he turned heel at WWE Elimination Chamber. The Rock told his original choice - both in storyline and in real life - Cody Rhodes that the thing he wanted most in the world was Cody's soul. Rhodes decided to sell his soul to The Rock, telling Dwayne Johnson to go f*ck himself moments before Cena turned heel.

John Cena is scheduled to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41. A spoiler on the winner of that match emerged this week.
