Report: Potential Spoilers For William Regal's Two WWE NXT Announcements

WWE NXT general manager William Regal is now set to make two major announcements on this Wednesday's NXT. 

It was confirmed on Monday Night Raw that Regal would be making two 'game-changing announcements' this week, both of which would continue NXT's trend of making history within WWE. 

The first of the two announcements is believed to pertained to the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship situation, after the controversial events of last week's NXT saw Raw's Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler retain the titles against Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE is planning on introducing NXT Women's Tag Team titles.

The second statement may relate to the planned two-night NXT TakeOver event planned for the week of WrestleMania 37. Meltzer has also confirmed that the two-night spectacle would take place on Wednesday 7 April and Thursday 8 April, with the first night being shown on the USA Network and the second being played on the WWE Network and Peacock. 

It is therefore plausible that Regal's second announcement could be to confirm NXT's first-ever two-night TakeOver. 

This week's NXT is shaping up to be a huge show, with Finn Balor defending the NXT Championship against Adam Cole, and Io Shirai putting her NXT Women's Championship on the line against Toni Storm.
