Report: 'Prominent Performers' To Miss AEW Dynamite

Disruption to tonight's AEW tapings

Tonight's episode of AEW Dynamite is set to affected by Hurricane Ian. 

According to Grapsody's Will Washington, "prominent performers" will be missing from Dynamite and Rampage tapings in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Washington tweeted: "A few prominent performers who reside in Florida won't be at Dynamite/Rampage today. Just hoping everyone stays safe out there."

Hurricane Ian is expected to make landfall in Florida today and some areas have already suffered heavy damage due to tornadoes created by the storm's outer bands. The category three storm will bring winds of up to 120 mph and there is expected to be up to 2ft of rain in the next 48 hours in the worst-affected areas. More than 2.5 million people in Western Florida have started to evacuate.

Tony Khan has already told talent they do not have to be at tonight's taping due to the hurricane.
