Report: Promotions & Pay Rises Reinstated For WWE Employees

Good news for WWE employees

WWE employees have reportedly been told that the company will be reinstating pay-rises and promotions, with a significant portion of the workforce in line for a raise in the coming weeks.

PWInsider is reporting that WWE held an 'all hands on deck' meeting with employees on Thursday, ahead of the company going back on the road this weekend and finally welcoming fans back to shows.

The meeting was an immensely positive one as staff were told that WWE would be bringing back pay-raises and promotions. The positive step comes after Fightful Select reported in mid-February that WWE told staff in a meeting that the company would not be providing promotions, pay increases or bonuses. It was noted that this edict was only for employees and did not cover talent or wrestlers.

However, it appears WWE have made the move to reverse those measures, with PWInsider's report saying the implication from the meeting was that a big part of the workforce would be receiving a pay increase in the coming days and weeks.

WWE employees returned to office working earlier in July, ahead of the company's return to live touring.
