Report: Raquel Gonzalez Expected To Move Up To WWE Main Roster

A former NXT Women's Champion could soon make their way to the main roster. 

Fightful Select have reported that Raquel Gonzalez has been discussed for a main roster call-up and most within NXT expect her to join Raw or SmackDown at some point in the future. 

Gonzalez has previously had two dark matches on SmackDown, facing Toni Storm back in October of 2021 and Io Shirai in February of this year. 

Fightful also noted there have been several pitches to move Gonzalez to the main roster in the past but they didn't end up going anywhere. 

Gonzalez has been a featured performer on NXT since she first aligned with Dakota Kai in January 2020. She is a two-time NXT Women's Tag Team Champion and former NXT Women's Champion, holding that title for 202 days. 

Other NXT talents discussed for main roster call-ups include Imperium's Gunther and Marcel Barthel, as well as LA Knight. If they will ultimately be moved to the main roster remains to be seen.
