Report: Reason AEW Manager Has Been Pulled From TV Revealed

Reported reason AEW have pulled a manager from TV

One of the most popular groups in All Elite Wrestling will be one member short moving forward as their manager has been pulled from AEW TV.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW have made the conscious decision to pull Rebel from TV, with Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter recently fighting and appearing as a duo. Rebel had long served as the manager of Baker and Hayter, but with the two competitors pivoting into a babyface role against heels Saraya and Toni Storm, it was felt that Rebel did not currently fit the team.

Rebel originally joined AEW in 2019, working backstage in hair and make-up. However, in April 2020 Rebel started appearing on-screen as the assistant to the villainous Britt Baker, with Rebel/Reba accompanying Baker for her matches.

Formerly part of the Menagerie in TNA, and a one-time OVW Women’s Champion, Rebel has only wrestled a handful of times since joining AEW, last wrestling in August 2022 at an AEW Dark taping.

There’s no word on if Rebel is still working backstage at AEW, or if she has been released from the company entirely.
