During Raw Legends Night, Ric Flair accompanied his daughter Charlotte Flair to the ring for a tag team match against Lacey Evans and Peyton Royce. The Nature Boy then got involved in the finish as he suddenly tripped Charlotte, which allowed Royce to lock in the Crucifix Pin for the 1-2-3.
While the finish of the match was ultimately botched, WWE has seemingly decided to turn the botch into a romance angle between 30-year-old Lacey Evans and the 71-year-old Flair.
Evans called Ric a "charming, handsome, powerful man's man" ahead of her match with Charlotte on last night's Raw and the 16-time world champion helped Lacey secure the victory over his daughter.
Fans can expect to see the romance angle blossom on a weekly basis. Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Flair is once again a full-time character on WWE TV and he will be partnered with The Sassy Southern Belle going forward.
Why WWE decided to bring Flair back full time is currently unknown, but Raw drew it's best ratings since March 16, 2020, last week with Raw Legends Night.
