Report: Ridge Holland Not Close To WWE NXT Return

He hasn't been seen since his injury in October

Ridge Holland has been rehabbing at the WWE Performance Center in recent months but is reportedly no where near a return to action.

Holland looked set to be involved in a huge storyline on NXT involving the Undisputed Era after apparently attacking Adam Cole at the conclusion of NXT TakeOver 31, but would sustain a number of serious injuries in the following episode of the black-and-gold brand.

The 32-year-old, when catching Oney Lorcan as he delivered a cross-body, would reportedly suffer an ankle dislocation and fracture in his left leg, and a knee patellar dislocation and patellar tendon rupture in his right leg, with Holland being stretchered out of the arena.

Fightfulis reporting that Holland has been rehabbing from his injuries at the WWE Performance Center since suffering his injuries in October, but the former professional rugby league player is no where close to be making a return to action.

The report goes on to suggest that Holland had been earmarked for a major push prior to his injury woes, but plans were forced to be changed significantly as a result.
