Back in May, it emerged that 74-year-old Vince McMahon dived off the platform at the WWE Performance Center during WrestleMania 36 rehearsals to show Rob Gronkowski that it was safe. The three-time Super Bowl Champion was reportedly terrified about doing the jump and needed convincing even after seeing McMahon take the leap which delayed production of The Showcase Of The Immortals by two hours. Gronk did eventually go through with the dive but his jump was compared to that of a toddler jumping in a pool for the first time.

Fightful Select revealed WWE Superstars were less than impressed with The Gronkosaurus as even wrestlers who are considered "easy" and "helpful" only had negative things to say about Gronkowski. A top name within the company also called Gronk "A f****n' clown who we are so much better off without."

The top name is likely someone on Friday Night SmackDown as the report noted Gronkowski had very little interaction with anyone from Monday Night Raw and was largely considered a blue brand Superstar after his debut.

WWE Superstars won't have to deal with Gronk backstage anytime soon, however, as he left the company yesterday. He previously announced that he planned to return to the NFL and was traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers soon after.
