Report: Roman Reigns No Longer Scheduled For WWE Money In The Bank

No Roman Reigns at WWE Money In The Bank

Following his removal from advertising for the upcoming Money In The Bank pay-per-view/premium live event, Sports Illustrated have reported that Roman Reigns is no longer scheduled for the July 2 show in Las Vegas.

There is no word on why Reigns will not be in action, only that "plans changed" after Money In The Bank was moved from Allegiant Stadium to the smaller MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Prior to his removal from the show, it was noted that Reigns' next three title challengers would be Riddle at Money In The Bank, Randy Orton at SummerSlam on July 30, and Drew McIntyre on September 3 at Clash At The Castle. Sports Illustrated noted they are still scheduled to be The Tribal Chief's next opponents, although when those matches will take place is currently unknown.

Riddle challenged Reigns to an Undisputed WWE Universal Title match on Monday's episode of Raw, while Drew McIntyre challenged The Big Dog to a bout at Clash At The Castle last week. Randy Orton is currently off WWE TV following a post-match beatdown from The Bloodline after RK-Bro lost a tag team title unification match to The Usos on May 20.

Reigns has been Undisputed WWE Universal Champion since WrestleMania 38. He has yet to defend the title.
