Report: Roman Reigns Wrestling On Both Nights Of WWE WrestleMania 39 Under Consideration

Roman Reigns to wrestle on both nights of WWE WrestleMania 39?

Roman Reigns has worked a part-time schedule since he signed a new WWE deal after WrestleMania 38 but The Tribal Chief might have to pull double duty at the 2023 edition of the Showcase of the Immortals.

According to a report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE have discussed having Reigns wrestle on both nights of WrestleMania 39 with Cody Rhodes and The Rock as his opponents. Those plans aren't definitive, though, and Meltzer stated "the best bet is that it won't take place like that."

Splitting up the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship is also under consideration. The WWE and Universal titles were unified at WrestleMania 38 when Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar.

WWE could split up the titles by having Reigns do double duty and book Cody Rhodes to win the WWE Championship on night one - with that being the belt he has wanted since his WWE return. Reigns would then retain the Universal Title against The Rock on night two to continue his record reign.
