Report: Ronda Rousey Moving On From WWE Ahead Of Planned UFC Return

Ronda Rousey could be headed back to UFC

Having left WWE following her loss to Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam, don't expect to see Ronda Rousey back in a pro wrestling ring anytime soon.

A source close to Ronda Rousey has told the Daily Mail that Rousey is looking to move on from WWE and focus on a potential return to the UFC at UFC 300.

The close confidante said: "She just had a match at SummerSlam and is looking to wind down her time and commitments with the WWE and she is now focusing on potentially making a run to have one last fight in the UFC and compete at UFC 300 when that presents itself sometime next year."

Rousey is said to be at a "crossroads in her life" and she may want to transition to TV and film roles too, although she might also decide to have a second child with husband Travis Browne.

"She really wants to do it all [career-wise], but in the next few months don't be caught off guard that she is having another kid because that is something she feels is one of the most important things to happen for her again," the confidante added.

Rousey had been a part of WWE since 2018, initially performing on TV until 2019's WrestleMania 35. The UFC Hall of Famer then returned at Royal Rumble 2022 and she was presented as a top star until stepping away from the company following SummerSlam.
