Report: Mercedes Moné Expected To Make AEW Debut After She Is Cleared For In-Ring Return

Update on Mercedes Moné to AEW

A further update on Mercedes Moné's AEW status has emerged.

Moné was in attendance for All Elite Wrestling's All In pay-per-view at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, August 27 and she was shown sitting in the stands on multiple occasions during the show. It has since been reported that Moné is open to appearing in AEW and people within the promotion are optimistic about the two sides working together.

In an update, Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported the expectation within AEW is that Moné will be "coming in for appearances" when she is cleared for in-ring action. She likely would have already debuted in AEW too at their Blood & Guts episode of Dynamite at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts if Moné hadn't sustained an injury at NJPW Resurgence in May.

Moné has been out of action since suffering the injury. She was only shown sitting down at All In as she was wearing a heavy walking boot, having seemingly recently undergone surgery to fix the injury.

When Moné is expected to be cleared to return to the ring is unknown.
