Report: Rumour Killer On The Young Bucks Sending Feelers To WWE

The Young Bucks have denied the story

The Young Bucks may not have sent feelers to WWE after all.

A report from Ryan Frederick on the F4W Online Board over the weekend noted that The Young Bucks had sent out feelers to WWE through a talent that is already with the organisation to make it clear they would be interested in holding talks when their AEW deals expire in 2024. The practice is considered common as talent want leverage in negotiations and will pursue the best deal possible.

In an update, though, The Young Bucks have said the story is not true, according to Frederick's colleague Dave Meltzer.

"The only thing I know on that, is that they have said that story is not true. You know, they talk to people in WWE, that's not unusual. Time will tell on what happened and what's happening. But I do know that they denied that, the rumour," Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio

The Young Bucks' deals with AEW reportedly expire in January 2024. An option in their original AEW contracts was activated in late 2021 to extend their deals by two years. Matt and Nick Jackson were two of the promotion's founders and they are two-time AEW World Tag Team Champions.
