Report: Rumoured Tribal Chief Championship 'Not Happening'
WWE may have changed their plans on the Tribal Chief Title
Dec 28, 2024
A report emerged over the last couple of weeks that WWE were considering the introduction of a brand new championship - the ‘Tribal Chief Title’ - which would serve as the prize for the leader of The Bloodline to wear. The ula fala necklace currently takes this position in The Bloodline storyline, being held by both Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa.
The initial report stated that the upcoming match between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa at Monday Night RAW’s premiere on Netflix would be contested for the ula fala, but later down the line a new title would be introduced into the story, and would be similar to The Rock’s People’s Championship that he wore over the last year.
A new update from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has suggested that this is no longer the case, as it is noted that the addition of the Tribal Chief Title is ‘not happening’, with the pair feuding over the ula fala instead. It remains to be seen if WWE will in fact proceed with plans, though the reports sparked negativity online amongst fans.
