Report: Spoiler On Cody Rhodes' WWE Money In The Bank Opponent

While initial reports indicated Cody Rhodes was expected to be involved in the men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match at the MITB pay-per-view on July 1, that no longer appears to be the case.

A new report from Better Wrestling Experience has claimed WWE's current plans call for Rhodes to face Dominik Mysterio at Money in the Bank. How WWE will get to the match is unknown but two ideas are under discussion. One is for a mixed tag team match, while the other would see Rhodes form a temporary alliance with former rival Seth Rollins as they look to take out Judgment Day. Rollins is the reigning World Heavyweight Champion and he looks set to face Dominik's Judgment Day stablemate Finn Balor at Money in the Bank.

Issues between Cody Rhodes and Dominik Mysterio arose last week after the former SmackDown Tag Team Champion interrupted Cody's appearance on Miz TV. 

Following any match with Dominik at Money in the Bank, current plans suggest Rhodes will face Brock Lesnar in the third match of their feud. Reports have noted Lesnar vs. Rhodes III will be a stipulation match, with a Texas Bullrope Match having been pitched.
