Report: Stu Grayson Done With AEW

Stu Grayson finished with AEW

While it was known that Joey Janela, Jack Evans, and Marko Stunt would depart All Elite Wrestling when their contracts expired on May 1, a surprising name in Stu Grayson was also removed from the AEW roster page on the promotion's website.

Talent have been removed in the past when they have exited the promotion and that is the case for Grayson, with Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reporting that 'the word going around is that his contract expired and the two sides didn't come to terms on a new deal.'

Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp also tweeted that AEW talent believe Grayson's contract has expired.

'So far, I've heard the same thing, but haven't had it confirmed. Talent I've talked to is under the impression Stu Grayson's deal expired. I've tried reaching out to a lot of people and AEW but haven't heard back anything official,' Sapp wrote.

After years on the independent wrestling scene, Grayson made his AEW debut at the promotion's inaugural event, Double Or Nothing 2019, alongside tag team partner Evil Uno, forming the Dark Order in the process.

Grayson was a popular performer inside the squared circle, particularly impressing in both of Dark Order's multi-man matches against The Elite in 2021. He had rarely been used on TV since October of 2021, though, only wrestling once on Dynamite and once on Rampage in 2022.
