Will Ospreay Issues Fatal 4-Way Challenge For NJPW Capital Collision

Fatal 4-Way at NJPW Capital Collision?

A challenge has been issued for NJPW's upcoming Capital Collision pay-per-view in Washington D.C.

In a video on Twitter, Will Ospreay challenged IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi, Juice Robinson, and Jon Moxley to a Fatal 4-Way for the title at the May 14 show.

The Commonwealth Kingpin was originally scheduled to face Tanahashi for the vacant title at Wrestling Dontaku on May 1 but he was pulled from the contest after testing positive for COVID-19.

Tanahashi defeated Tomohiro Ishii for the vacant championship instead before he was laid out by the returning Juice Robinson after the contest.

Jon Moxley, meanwhile, is a former IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion and he recently challenged Tanahashi to a match on May 14.

SANADA was previously US Champion but he had to vacate the gold due to a fractured orbital bone he suffered in a New Japan Cup match against Will Ospreay on March 17.

Three matches have already been set for Capital Collision, including Brody King vs. Minoru Suzuki, and Eddie Kingston vs. Tomohiro Ishii.
