Report: Talent Meeting Held Prior To AEW Dynamite

Ahead of an episode of Dynamite in which the AEW World and World Trios Titles were vacated, All Elite Wrestling held a talent meeting, according to Fightful Select. 

The AEW talent meeting took place at 4:15 pm ET with wrestlers, referees, coaches, and announcers present. The meeting was said to be led by Bryan Danielson, Chris Jericho, and Jon Moxley. Jericho has received praise within AEW for his demeanour and resolve following the backstage fight between The Elite, CM Punk and Ace Steel after Punk's All Out press conference. 

The backstage fight has had serious consequences for AEW. Kenny Omega, CM Punk, The Young Bucks, Pat Buck, Christopher Daniels, Michael Nakazawa, and Brandon Cutler are all currently suspended. Ace Steel has been pulled off the road too. Punk and Steel reportedly had a meeting with the company at 4 pm ET yesterday. 

A third party will investigate what happened during the backstage fight. CM Punk is also out of action and will require surgery due to an injury he suffered in the All Out main event.
