Since dropping the WWE Championship to Brock Lesnar at Day 1 on January 1, Big E's run at the top of the card has seemingly come to an end as The Powerhouse Of Positivity has since been traded to SmackDown and he has reverted back to being a tag team wrestler alongside fellow former WWE Champion Kofi Kingston.

The recent booking of Big E hasn't gone down well within WWE, though, and PWTorch's Wade Keller noted people within the company are "really upset" with the former WWE Champion's recent booking.

"I've asked around, and all I've gotten is people who are really upset, you know, with the rug being pulled out from under him, and I haven't heard anything about there being an awareness of an issue with him and I think the people I have asked would know," Keller said.

"Big E doesn't seem like the type of person who would do anything that anyone else would see as a problem but, you know, I could imagine him not knowing his place, according to some management [and maybe they feel] that now they're gonna teach him a lesson because he dared to push back against something he didn't like that he was being asked to do, but I haven't heard of anything concrete as far as that goes."

Individuals within the locker room have also seemingly been affected by Big E's booking and Keller noted a talent told him the New Day man doesn't deserve his current treatment.

"But, I mean, one person just described him as a magnificent human being who doesn't deserve this treatment," Keller added.

If Big E will get his rematch for the WWE Title ultimately remains to be seen but Vince McMahon is leaning towards booking some big plans for the world title at WrestleMania 38.
