Report: Taynara Conti Leaves NXT Following Dispute

Hasn't wrestled in close to a month...

NXT performer Taynara Conti has left the company following a disagreement, as first reported by Fightful, and confirmed by Dave Meltzer.

Conti left the promotion in mid-January, according to reports.

The cause of the dispute is not currently known, though Fightful has speculated that the issue is related to money.

Brazilian wrestling source WrestleBR has claimed that Conti refused to work a women's battle royal on the January 15 edition of NXT, and she was gone after that.

Conti is still reportedly under contract with WWE.

Conti, who has a black belt in judo and a blue belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, signed with WWE in October 2016. She wrestled her first match the following May, taking part in a battle royal at a live event in Dade City, FL.

She competed in both the 2017 and 2018 Mae Young Classics, losing to Lacey Evans in the first round of the former, and Lacey Lane in the second round of the latter.

Conti's last match took place on Sunday, January 12, teaming with Bianca Belair in a loss to Kayden Carter and Mia Yim at an NXT live event in Buffalo.
