Report: Tony Khan Contributing More On Creative End Of AEW

With word on some of his contributions...

AEW founder Tony Khan is said to have assumed a more hands-on position in the creative department of All Elite Wrestling, according to a report from Fightful.

The report indicates that Khan, who gives "final say" on creative ideas and the like, has worked more closely on the development of some of the promotion's ongoing angles.

"Tony Khan specifically has evolved from being the person with the final say to a person developing more stories and ideas creatively of his own, as well as being more outspoken about other people's ideas," according to the report.

One storyline that Khan has helped develop has been that of Adam "Hangman" Page, whose "social drinking", and not-so-passive disdain for The Young Bucks, have positioned him as something of a tweener character, a black sheep among his friends in The Elite.

"Thus far, we've heard that his creative input has been received positively from people on the roster," Fightful's report reads. "That Hangman Page story specifically was one that he's worked closely on and contributed to heavily."

Additionally, while Kenny Omega is cited in the report as the one who suggested turning Britt Baker heel, Khan reportedly has helped shape some of her promos, particularly her remarks toward announcer Tony Schiavone.

The Fightful update goes on to say that Khan's involvement hasn't resulted in anyone else losing their say in creative matters, but that Khan himself has just become more take-charge in that department.
