Report: Title Match Under Consideration For Second WWE Saturday Night's Main Event Revealed

An update has emerged on WWE's plans for the second edition of the rebooted Saturday Night's Main Event.

SNME will emanate from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday, January 25, 2025. WrestleVotes noted on WrestleVotes Radio that a title match under consideration for the show would see Chelsea Green defend the Women's United States Championship against Michin.

"Our last news bit of the portion here is staying with the women's title news. We are hearing creative is considering having the rematch between Chelsea Green and Michin for the United States Women's Championship to take place on the second edition of Saturday Night's Main Event on January 25 in San Antonio. It is possible the encounter could be a stipulation match as a way to cap off their long-standing rivalry," WrestleVotes said.

Chelsea Green defeated Michin to become the inaugural Women's United States Champion at the first episode of the rebooted Saturday Night's Main Event in December. Their feud has continued since then.

Saturday Night's Main Event will air as quarterly specials on NBC. Jesse Ventura will be on commentary for each of the shows.
