TNA’s recent backstage reshuffle has seen several long-time company names depart the promotion, but reportedly hasn’t led to concerns amongst on-screen talent.

The announcement of George Veras as TNA President saw Anthony Cicione depart, whilst the likes of Josh Mathews and Christy Hemme have also exited the promotion. A report from PWInsider states the backstage reshuffles were merely ‘restructuring’ by TNA parent company Anthem, with the exits of Mathews and Hemme due to Veras wanting to install his own team backstage. There has been no word of unease or concern within the locker room about these reshuffles.

TNA has had its fair share of ups and downs over the prior 12 months, with the firing of President Scott D’Amore in early 2024 seeing many talents question whether they wished to remain with the company or not.

Later in 2024, it was revealed that TNA were making a series of budget cuts, with several talents offered lower wages or cut when their contracts expired, with the likes of KUSHIDA and Rhino exiting TNA. Elsewhere, Jordynne Grace exited the company to join WWE, whilst former TNA World Champion Josh Alexander is set to exit with the coming expiration of his deal.
