Report: Triple H Seemingly Given More Power In WWE Following “I’m Back” Speech
Triple H reportedly returned to the WWE Performance Center earlier this week

After taking time off and later reportedly taking a reduced role in WWE after his cardiac event in September 2021, Triple H recently returned to WWE’s Performance Center and gave a speech stating that he’s “back”.
Now, according to a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s Dave Meltzer, Triple H has seemingly been given more power in WWE, but the nature of which at this time is unknown:
“On June 22, Paul Levesque had a meeting with talent and officials in Orlando, FL. He said he was back, but didn’t explain what he meant. Multiple people at the meeting noted him using the words “I’m back,” but he never made clear if he was back in charge of NXT, or just back at work, which he’s been for some time, but hadn’t been back to Orlando.
“Levesque had been a longtime head of talent relations, before being removed from the position quietly. There had been talk before any of this went down with Vince McMahon that Levesque was going to back in a bigger role shortly so this is likely not related to the investigation, although the timing would indicate the time of this move could be related in some form. He did indicate that there would be things changing but could not go into detail on them just yet.”
Levesque has been part of WWE since 1995, taking on corporate responsibilities in the organisation in 2010, with his most notable achievement being the creation and development of the NXT brand. Levesque’s currently serves as the WWE Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy and Development.
