Report: Update On Bandido's AEW Injury Status

Bandido is set to miss AEW All In due to injury

As previously reported, Bandido suffered from a broken wrist injury a week or so back on an episode of AEW Rampage in a match with Konosuke Takeshita, with Bandido seemingly needing surgery. Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has provided an unsavoury update on Bandido’s injury and when to expect him back in the ring.

“Bandido will be out of action for an undetermined period after breaking his left wrist in his 6/14 match (that aired on 6/16) against Konosuke Takeshita in Washington, DC. The first doctor he saw told him he would need surgery. He went for a second opinion. Recovery time with or without surgery would be at least three months, keeping him off Wembley Stadium if he was even to be on that show in the first place.”

As noted, it isn’t clear if Bandido was in AEW’s plans for their upcoming All In event in London, England from Wembley Stadium, but even if he was in contention for a spot on the show, it now seems to be an unlikely scenario for him to make it back into the ring in time.
