Report: Update On Bobby Fish's IMPACT Wrestling Status

What next for Bobby Fish in IMPACT?

In a surprising moment at Victory Road, Bobby Fish made his IMPACT Wrestling debut, announcing that he was in the promotion for the competition and not for the bulls**t.

This led to an interruption for Fish from Mahabali Shera and Raj Singh but Bobby managed to end the segment standing tall after he took both men down and applied the Heel Hook to Singh before the heels escaped.

Despite his appearance, Fish has not signed with IMPACT as of yet, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider. The former NXT star does have future bookings, though, and he is at least scheduled to appear at the Bound for Glory pay-per-view on Friday, October 7 and the following day's TV tapings. Both shows will be taking place in Fish's hometown of Albany, New York.

Fish has also taped backstage material for future episodes of IMPACT on AXS TV.

Fish had spent the last year in All Elite Wrestling but he departed the promotion at the end of August when his contract expired.

Rumours had suggested that Fish tried to convince Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly to go back to WWE but that was reportedly not true
