Report: Update On Braun Strowman's WWE Status Following Return

Cheer on Braun Strowman!

An update has emerged on Braun Strowman following his return on Monday's edition of WWE Raw.

Strowman had been away from WWE for over a year since his release in June of 2021 but he suddenly appeared on Raw during a number one contender's match for the Undisputed WWE Tag Tag Team Championships, laying out all eight competitors. This involved The Monster Among Men Spearing Otis through the barricade and putting Angelo Dawkins through the announce table with a Running Powerslam.

Braun then announced later in the show during a backstage promo that he would be on Friday's episode of SmackDown to explain how and why he returned to the organisation.

SmackDown will ultimately be Strowman's new home and PWInsider reported that the former Universal Champion has internally been assigned to the blue brand. He will be a babyface going forward.

From his presentation on Raw, Strowman looks set to be presented as a top star on SmackDown alongside Drew McIntyre, Karrion Kross, and Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
