Jeff Cobb
On last night's episode of Dynamite, ROH and NJPW star Jeff Cobb

made his debut in All Elite Wrestling. He was introduced after Chris Jericho revealed that if Jon Moxley defeated Santana in the main event, he would go one on one with a hand-selected mercenary on next week's episode, who turned out to be Cobb.

At the end of the broadcast, The Hawaiian Hulk aligned himself with The Inner Circle as he joined them in attacking Moxley. The show went off the air after Cobb laid Moxley out with Tour Of The Islands.

With the former ROH World Television Champion turning up in AEW, many assumed he had signed a contract with the young promotion. This is not the case, however, as

Mike Johnson at PWInsider

reported that the former Matanza Cueto is still a free agent and is free to continue working in other promotions.

For the avoidance of doubt, Johnson wrote: "While Cobb is still working for both Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling, his appearance is not a sign that AEW has forged a working relationship with either promotion. Cobb is currently a free agent as his ROH deal expired at the end of 2019 and he declined to sign a new deal. He was booked directly by AEW as he is free to work anywhere, so his debut tonight should not be seen as anything greater than just that – a debut.

"Based on Jericho's promo, Cobb is booked for next week’s episode of Dynamite in Atlanta against Moxley. Cobb has not, as of this writing, signed with AEW."
