Report: Update On Jeff Hardy Following WWE Raw
After a scary table spot...
Dec 1, 2020
UPDATE: Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio there is "kind of" an expectation that Jeff Hardy suffered a concussion on Raw last night. Similar to Fightful Select, Bryan Alvarez had heard Hardy was "okay."
Meltzer said: "I had heard that there was kind of an expectation that he had a concussion but he hadn't been diagnosed as having one, because that wouldn't come just yet anyway."
ORIGINAL STORY:
Jeff Hardy and Elias brought their rivalry to a close on last night's episode of Monday Night Raw in a Symphony Of Destruction Match. Various musical weapons were used during the match including violins, guitars and a cello. Elias even electrocuted himself at one point after he smashed a guitar into a set of speakers.
The match almost ended in disaster, though. After Elias electrocuted himself, Hardy draped him across a table at ringside near the steel steps. The former WWE Champion then climbed on top of the ring post and put The Drifter through the table with a Swanton Bomb. Upon hitting the move, though, the back of Hardy's head smashed against the corner of the steel steps.
Hardy appeared to be okay after the match and he headed backstage under his own power, but many fans were still concerned about the Superstar following the spot.
Fans seemingly don't need to be worried, however, as Fightful Select reported all indications are that The Charismatic Enigma was "okay" after the spot despite the rough landing.
