It emerged on Monday that Roman Reigns was very unhappy following Survivor Series WarGames on November 26, with reports noting that the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion was "heated" about an unplanned spot during The Bloodline's WarGames Match.

Reigns reportedly took exception to an unplanned moment between him and Kevin Owens and he had an "expletive-filled" outburst backstage. A possible ruptured ear drum was also mentioned. The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion's outburst was believed to just be in the heat of the moment and there were not expected to be any lingering problems between Reigns and Owens.

In an update, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported that Reigns was upset "after being popped" and he was bruised under his left eye. The injury and possible ruptured eardrum occurred after a slap from Owens. Meltzer noted that while Reigns was annoyed, the situation had blown over after 20 minutes.

Reigns teamed with his Bloodline faction mates Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sami Zayn, and Solo Sikoa to take on Kevin Owens, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Butch, and Ridge Holland inside WarGames on Saturday. The Tribal Chief was not on the post-Survivor Series episode of Raw on Monday but Kevin Owens was involved with The Bloodline as he addressed Sami Zayn's actions from WarGames.
