Report: Update On Tony Khan's "Huge Announcement" On AEW Dynamite

More on Tony Khan's "huge announcement" planned for AEW Dynamite

Tony Khan absolutely loves making "huge announcements" on All Elite Wrestling TV and the AEW CEO has promoted another one for the Wednesday, April 5 edition of Dynamite. Khan believes what he has to reveal is "very exciting news" and he believes it will "generate a lot of coverage."

What the announcement is has not leaked but PWInsider Elite have noted the word making the rounds within AEW is that Khan's announcement is not a "storyline" or a talent announcement. Speculation has suggested the announcement will be the reveal of a new AEW TV show that has been rumoured since the beginning of March.

The new show, potentially named AEW Collision, will reportedly air on Saturday nights and the debut episode will air on or before an AEW TV taping in Saskatchewan on July 8.

Tony Khan said about the announcement to Sports Illustrated: “This is something I’ve dreamed of for years. It’s a huge milestone for AEW, and I can’t wait to talk about it. There will be fans around the world who will be excited - it is one of the most important announcements ever in AEW.”

The announcement will take place on what is already a packed episode of Dynamite that will feature a Title vs. Careers Match between The Gunns and FTR, Ricky Starks vs. Juice Robinson, and Jamie Hayter vs. Riho for the AEW Women's World Championship.
