Report: Update On When Roman Reigns Will Lose The Undisputed WWE Universal Title

A WWE source had reportedly provided information on when Roman Reigns will lose his world title

Roman Reigns now has the fourth-longest world title reign in WWE history, and with a victory over his own cousin Jey Uso at SummerSlam 2023, his run as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion will be going on for even longer. Many have wondered when exactly Reigns will lose the gold, with Fightful Select providing some information on Reigns’ run in 2023.

The report stated that Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, and Jey Uso were never under serious consideration to dethrone Reigns this year, with the results being known a fair amount of time in advance. Fightful would go on to directly ask a WWE source about when Reigns would be losing.

“When we bluntly asked when Roman Reigns will lose the WWE Undisputed World Championship “whenever Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman say it f*ckin' ends.” So in the event Roman Reigns loses the World Championship, it was said that the two would have heavy input as to who that would be, whether it be tonight, or a year or two down the line. “They are constantly looking at every possibility. When they think it's the very best thing for business, they'll know to switch it up, do it right, and really make someone doing it," the higher up indicated.”

It looks as though whenever the time comes for a title change, all parties involved will be on board with the decision.
