Report: Update On WWE Not Signing Two Former ROH Talents

WWE were linked with two former ROH talents earlier this year

Two former Ring of Honor talents received WWE tryouts ahead of potential deals in December 2022, but since then there have been no reports of follow-up offers for the wrestlers in question.

Believed to have been looked at with an eye to forming the rumoured ‘Wyatt Six’ stable with Bray Wyatt, former ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions Vincent Marseglia and Dutch have not been signed to a WWE deal, with a report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter stating that the pair also haven’t been turned down by WWE, with the situation described as ‘wait and see’.

Since Wyatt’s return at Extreme Rules with the ‘White Rabbit’ campaign, rumours and reports have long suggested that Wyatt was set to head up his own stable, with the belief being that the Firefly Funhouse characters would ‘come to life’. Whilst the likes of Abby the Witch, and Ramblin’ Rabbit have been seen as fully-grown humanoids, no such stable has seen the light of day, with Wyatt involved instead with the odd Uncle Howdy.

Vincent and Dutch were last seen together at ROH Death Before Dishonor 2022, dropping the Six-Man Titles to Dalton Castle and The Boys, whilst Vincent finished up with IMPACT Wrestling in September. The pair have since wrestled together at independent shows, but have yet to team together in 2023.
