Report: Update On WWE Plans For Brock Lesnar Vs. Cody Rhodes At Night Of Champions

More on the upcoming clash between Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar

Following their first clash at Backlash, Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes are set to go one-on-one in a rematch at the upcoming Night of Champions pay-per-view on May 27 in Saudi Arabia. The match was made official on this week's edition of Monday Night Raw after Lesnar took out Cody during his Triple Threat in the WWE World Heavyweight Title tournament. Lesnar challenged The American Nightmare to a "fight" after putting him through the announce table with an F5 and Rhodes accepted the challenge later in the evening.

The stipulation for the match has yet to be officially revealed but Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that it is presumed Cody and Lesnar will face off in a Street Fight. No other matches have been made official for Night of Champions yet, but Seth Rollins' opponent in the final of the WWE World Heavyweight Title tournament will be determined on tonight's SmackDown.

Cody currently has a 1-0 record over Lesnar, having won their match at Backlash. The former WWE Champion looked to have the match won after applying the Kimura Lock but Rhodes rolled the submission into a pinning predicament for the 1-2-3.
