Report: 'Very High Possibility' Of Mexico WWE PLE In 2026
WWE PPV in Mexico in 2026 is a 'very high possibility'
Jan 15, 2025
WWE have never held a premium live event/pay-per-view in Mexico but that could be set to change in 2026.
According to WrestleVotes on a Backstage Pass Q&A, there is a "very high possibility" of a WWE PLE in Mexico next year.
"I would say probably 2026 is a good possibility, yeah. A very high possibility," WrestleVotes said.
It emerged in late 2024 that holding a major event in Mexico in 2025 had been discussed within WWE. Those plans may have been delayed, though.
Bad Bunny stated this week that WWE Backlash would be emanating from Mexico but it has since been internally denied within WWE that the company will be holding Backlash there.
WWE have hosted several international pay-per-views in recent years, including three premium live events in the United Kingdom. Premium live events have also emanated from France and Germany, as well as Saudi Arabia due to WWE's partnership with the country that has been in place since 2018.
WWE shows in Mexico have primarily been house shows since the company first toured Mexico in 2004. WWE have only held televised events in Mexico on a couple of occasions in 2011.
