Report: Vince McMahon Makes Major Changes To WWE Raw

Vince McMahon meddles with WWE Raw

Vince McMahon wielded his creative influence on Monday, April 24, making several changes to this week's edition of Raw from Chicago, Illinois.

According to PWInsider Elite, the WWE Executive Chairman made "major changes" to the show. McMahon changed the finishes of a number of matches, notably how the finishes would come about as opposed to altering the planned winners. The 77-year-old also added The Street Profits vs. Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin to Raw.

Several segments involving female talents ended up being cut from the show, including a segment that would have involved Candice LeRae and Piper Niven. This is the second time in April that McMahon has scrapped a segment involving LeRae and Niven. Another segment with Adam Pearce and several female talents was nixed too as it was decided the time should be used to set up the six-woman tag team match with Damage CTRL.

Zelina Vega and Tamina were both backstage at Raw too but didn't appear on the show.

Vince McMahon ultimately didn't interfere with Bad Bunny's creative and Rey Mysterio vs. Damian Priest was left as the main event of Raw following Vince McMahon's meddling.

McMahon re-established himself as the head of WWE creative following the sale of the company to Endeavor on Monday, April 3. He made several changes to the Raw after WrestleMania 39 and he has since overseen creative plans remotely
