Report: Vince McMahon's Influence Over WWE Creative Expected To Grow In Coming Months

Vince McMahon's fingerprints could soon be all over WWE Raw and SmackDown

WWE TV looks set to become the Vince McMahon show more and more.

PWInsider Elite has reported the belief among some they have spoken to within WWE is that Vince McMahon's influence over WWE programming is likely to grow in the coming months as the WWE-UFC merger draws closer and is completed. WWE agreed to sell the company to Endeavor in April 2023 and Vince McMahon will remain involved with WWE as the Executive Chairman of TKO Group Holdings. The 77-year-old is the Executive Chairman of WWE at the moment, having forced his way back into the organisation in January of this year.

McMahon has been the head of WWE Creative again since WWE's sale to Endeavor was announced on April 3. The number of changes McMahon has made to episodes of Monday Night Raw has varied but alterations have become more common in recent weeks and McMahon made major changes to Friday Night SmackDown for the first time this year for the June 23 show, changing three matches.

The June 26 episode of WWE Raw was also said to be a "very Vince McMahon show", according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, as the 77-year-old made a ton of changes. PWInsider noted ahead of Raw that the show would have a lot of "Vince McMahon fingerprints" on the episode.

According to recent reports, people within WWE are trying to find a way to stop McMahon from making last-minute changes to Raw and SmackDown
