Report: What Happened Backstage With MJF At AEW Double Or Nothing Revealed

What did MJF get up to backstage at AEW Double Or Nothing?

Issues between All Elite Wrestling and MJF arose again during Double Or Nothing Weekend as The Salt Of The Earth no-showed the promotion's Fan Fest and looked set to fly out of Las Vegas but he ultimately did not board the plane.

Tony Khan has refused to comment on the situation with MJF but Friedman did note that he arrived at T-Mobile Arena at the last minute for his opening match with Wardlow and left straight after the contest. He also stated he had a lot to think about.

What exactly happened while MJF was backstage has since emerged and PWInsider reported Friedman arrived at the arena while the Double Or Nothing Buy In was underway and he was sequestered to a room. Such was the speed of MJF being isolated that much of the locker room didn't even know he had arrived and some feared he hadn't shown up for his match when he wasn't at the gorilla position before his entrance.

After being stretchered backstage following his match with Wardlow, MJF did not stick around for the rest of the show and was spotted leaving T-Mobile Arena with producer Pat Buck immediately after The Salt Of The Earth's bout.

Much around MJF's future with All Elite Wrestling is unclear although PWInsider noted the belief is both parties agreed to get through Double Or Nothing. Tony Khan and MJF were also reportedly scheduled for a sit-down meeting on Monday night but what was discussed at the meeting or if it even took place is currently unknown.
