Report: Why Brock Lesnar Was Mentioned On WWE Raw In Recent Weeks

Brock Lesnar has been indirectly referenced on WWE Raw in recent weeks, with both Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins mentioning their previous victories over the 'Beast.'

This has fuelled speculation of a possible return to TV for Lesnar, who last wrestled at SummerSlam 2023, and who hasn't been featured since his name was alluded to in the Janel Grant lawsuit against Vince McMahon and company.

However, a recent report by Mike Johnson of PWInsider Elite suggests a different reason for the mentions of Lesnar. Johnson writes:

"There are zero discussions between WWE and Brock Lesnar currently.  We are told he remains off the board and any mentions of him on commentary are just to accentuate the current stories, nothing more."

Cody Rhodes is currently still feuding with the Bloodline, and looks set to possibly align with Roman Reigns and The Usos for a multi-man showdown or face Kevin Owens at Survivor Series: WarGames. Rhodes is also heading into a champion vs. champion clash with Gunther at Crown Jewel in a couple of weeks.

Seth Rollins recently returned to TV and seems set on getting revenge on Bronson Reed, who took him out of action in storyline. There is also the possibility of a CM Punk feud on the horizon.
