Report: Why Cora Jade Has Been Absent From WWE NXT Revealed

Cora Jade's NXT Whereabouts Have Been Revealed

Cora Jade has been notably missing from NXT television, not competing in a match since the 20-woman Battle Royal at NXT New Year’s Evil on January 10 to determine the new number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship. She was the first person eliminated in the match, getting thrown out in just 8 seconds by Lyra Valkryia, which could imply that there were injuries issues even back then.

Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter provided an explanation as to where Jade has been, not being seen in any capacity since January 24, and why she has been so absent from NXT programming;

“The reason Cora Jade hasn’t been around is that she suffered an undisclosed injury nearly two months back.”

Jade is a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion, winning the belts alongside Roxanne Perez, following which she turned heel. At just 22 years of age, Jade has shown a lot of promise in NXT, emerging as one of the most notable stars in the women’s division. We wish her a speedy recovery.
