Report: Why RUSH Has Been Off AEW TV Revealed
It has been reportedly revealed why RUSH has been absent from AEW
RUSH hasn’t competed in AEW for over a month, with his last match coming in May on an episode of Rampage when his La Faccion Ingobernables group lost to The Acclaimed and “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn in trios action. In the weeks that have followed, both Preston Vance and Dralistico have been on television, though RUSH hasn’t been by their side. In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, an update was provided on RUSH’s whereabouts and the reason behind his absence.
“Rush has been out of action of late due to what was said to be fixing visa issues, similar to why Komander was gone for a few weeks recently and why Bandido, Penta & Fenix were gone at different times this year, plus a lot of the U.K. crew in NXT.”
It was later noted that RUSH’s time in AEW could be coming to a close in general as his one-year deal is coming up soon. In the Newsletter, Dave Meltzer explored potential options going forwards, such as RUSH looking for perhaps a move to WWE, though it may rest on what Andrade El Idolo does ahead of his own AEW contract running down too.
