Report: WWE 2K23 Cover, Release Date Revealed

Further details on the upcoming WWE 2K23 video game have been revealed.

In since-deleted tweets, a Microsoft store data miner has uncovered that the cross-gen edition of WWE 2K23 will be released on Xbox consoles on Friday, March 17. This will likely be the same release date as the standard edition of WWE 2K23 for Xbox consoles, as well as Playstation 4, Playstation 5, and PC. Similar to previous years, it is expected that a deluxe edition of WWE 2K23 will be released on Tuesday, March 14.

The same data miner also revealed the WWE 2K23 cross-gen edition cover, which will likely be the same as the standard edition, and it features 16-time world champion John Cena. This has prompted speculation to circulate that Cena will be the featured talent of this year's Showcase Mode.

WWE 2K23 has yet to be officially announced by 2K, although the first trailer for the title is expected to air during the January 28 Royal Rumble pay-per-view. A commercial for the video game was reportedly filmed in December in Los Angeles and will feature the likes of Cody Rhodes, Logan Paul, Bad Bunny, and The Miz.
