Report: WWE Considering Adding Carmelo Hayes To Reformed Hurt Business

Could Carmelo Hayes join a revamped Hurt Business in WWE?

It seems we are getting ever closer to a full-on official Hurt Business reunion, after months of speculation, rumour, and downright pleading from former members MVP and Bobby Lashley.

With the group starting to slowly reform on WWE TV, it looks like the group of MVP, Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and Cedric Alexander will be back in ‘business’ soon enough, potentially with Omos joining in.

Another name that could be Hurt Business bound is that of Carmelo Hayes, with Dave Meltzer reporting in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE are allegedly considering adding the popular NXT star to the group, although it was noted that this is still at the ‘discussion’ phase.

MVP recently name-checked Hayes when asked about who he would like to work with in WWE, adding that the former NXT North American Champion reminds him of himself.

If Hayes does get the call-up to Main Roster and the Hurt Business, it likely wouldn’t be until after the April 1 NXT Stand & Deliver event, with Hayes vs. NXT Champion Bron Breakker rumoured to be taking place at the show.
