Report: WWE Considering Change To Day 1

Day 1 might not be on January 1

WWE's Day 1 pay-per-view might not actually take place on the first day of 2023.

The company's first pay-per-view of the year is currently scheduled for January 1 at Atlanta's State Farm Arena. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, though, WWE are considering moving the show to another date and a decision will be made in the coming days ahead of a possible announcement next week.

Regardless of any date change, Day 1 will still emanate from State Farm Arena. Why WWE are considering changing the date is unknown.

The company seemingly have big plans for the event and Brock Lesnar is scheduled to be in action at the pay-per-view.

The first Day 1 pay-per-view took place on January 1, 2022, also in Atlanta. The show featured The Usos vs. The New Day, RK-Bro vs. The Street Profits, Edge vs. The Miz, and a main event Five-Way between Big E, Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship.
