Report: WWE Interested In Moving Odyssey Jones To Main Roster

Jones to the main roster?

An NXT Superstar could be set to make their way to the main roster.

According to Cageside Seats, there is "some interest" within WWE about moving Odyssey Jones to the main roster.

The former college American football player has been a featured performer on NXT since his TV debut in July, making it to the final of the NXT Breakout Tournament before losing to Carmelo Hayes. He has since had feuds with LA Knight, Andre Chase and Diamond Mine and he and Jacket Time picked up a win over Roderick Strong and The Creed Brothers on the November 16 edition of NXT 2.0.

WWE have appeared to be interested in moving Jones to the main roster for some time and he competed in several dark matches between July and September of this year.

Jones' potential call-up comes at a time when WWE have placed an emphasis on NXT becoming the company's developmental brand once again and WWE President Nick Khan recently noted there would be more call-ups going forward.
