Report: WWE Legend Segment Pitched For SummerSlam
Grayson Waller may be involved at WWE SummerSlam
A WWE legend may well appear at SummerSlam.
According to WRKD Wrestling, nothing is set in stone but a segment between Grayson Waller and a "WWE legend" has been pitched for SummerSlam. The Big Four pay-per-view is set to take place at Detroit's Ford Field on Saturday, August 5.
"While nothing is set in stone, ideas have been pitched to have a SummerSlam weekend segment between Grayson Waller and a WWE legend. Reactions backstage have been very favorable for the young star's segments with John Cena and Edge," WRKD Wrestling tweeted.
Waller has impressed on the main roster so far in segments with the likes of AJ Styles, John Cena, and Edge. Who exactly Waller could be stood opposite at SummerSlam is unknown but The Undertaker is set to be in Detroit for SummerSlam weekend.
Headline matches at SummerSlam include Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor for the World Heavyweight Title, and Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar.
