Report: WWE Making Change For Hell In A Cell Match At WrestleMania 39

The red Hell in a Cell structure is gone!

WWE are making what will likely be a popular change at WrestleMania 39.

Edge and Finn Balor are set to clash in a Hell in a Cell Match at the latest edition of the Showcase of the Immortals. Edge will channel his Brood alter ego for the match while Balor is set to bring back the Demon for the first time since Extreme Rules 2021.

WWE have used a red Hell in a Cell structure since 2018, which has not been a popular change amongst fans. Fans were particularly critical of the change in 2019 when WWE decided to bathe the ring in red light for Seth Rollins and The Fiend's match inside the structure.

After five years, though, WWE are set to abandon the red cell. According to PWInsider Elite, WWE have reverted back to the classic silver/black colour for WrestleMania 39 and that cell is currently hanging above the ring in SoFi Stadium.

Inglewood, California's SoFi Stadium will host WrestleMania 39 later this week on April 1 and April 2. The show will be headlined by an Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes.
