Report: WWE NXT’s Ember Moon’s Issue 'Not Serious’

Moon was not in action on this week’s NXT

It was reported yesterday that NXT’s Ember Moon was ‘gutted and angry’ at being pulled from this week’s show due to medical issues, but new reports are stating that Moon’s issued are ‘not serious’.

The report from PWInsider comes from a WWE source, and it is assumed the former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion was kept off of TV as a precautionary measure.

Moon was originally advertised to be taking on Saraya on the August 10 edition of NXT, but was replaced by Dakota Kai, who defeated Saraya a few weeks before she takes on NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez at NXT TakeOver: 36.

WWE confirmed on social media in the build-up to NXT that Moon's absence was due to her being 'deemed not medically cleared to compete’, with Moon herself expressing her frustration on social media.

No reasons have been given yet for Moon’s absence, or to the nature of her ‘medical issues’. Moon last wrestled on the July 13 edition of NXT, losing to Dakota Kai in singles action.
